Amendment
to article V-1 of the
constitution
relative to alternates attending council sessions
THE CONFERENCE
Having noted
that the
Government of the United States of America
had presented a formal proposal for amendment of Article V, paragraph 1 of the Constitution which was intended to enable Members of the Council to appoint more than one alternate to attend
Council
sessions;
Recalling
its Resolution No. 21/61 whereby it adopted a similar amendment to Article III, paragraph 2 of the Constitution, regarding the composition of Delegations to the
Conference
;
Considering
that the proposed amendment would bring the provisions of Article V-1 in line with Article m-2 of the Constitution
Adopts
the following amendment to Article V-1 of the Constitution:(underlined words to be added, /bracketed/ words to be deleted): Article V-1 of the Constitution "
