Agreement

with the Intergovernmental Maritime Consultative Organization

THE CONFERENCE

Considering

the desirability of concluding an Agreement with the

Intergovernmental Maritime Consultative Organization

for the purpose of ensuring co-operation between FAO and that Organization,

Noting

that the Forty-Third Session of the

Council

, acting in accordance with the provisions of Rule XXIV. 4(c) of the General Rules of the Organization, had entered Into such an Agreement subject to confirmation by the

Noting

further with satisfaction that the Assembly of the Intergovernmental Maritime Consultative Organization at its Fourth Session, held in

Paris

from 15 to 29 September 1965, approved the proposed Agreement,

Confirms

, in conformity with the provisions of Article XIII.1 of the Constitution of the Organization, the decision of the Forty-Third Sessions of the Council approving the Agreement between FAO and the Intergovernmental Maritime Consultative Organization, the text of which is appended as Appendix F hereto.
